Biographical/Historical note
Donna Johnigan served as a member of the Board of Directors of the B. W. Cooper Resident Management Corporation for many years. She was appointed to the position of Vice President in 2004, and during her active career, received numerous awards and recognition for her community service and activism, especially on behalf of the residents of public housing projects.
Katherine Clark has worked with many oral history projects including the prize-winning books, Milking the Moon (Crown, 2001) by Eugene Walters, and Motherwit: An Alabama Midwife's Story (Dutton, 1989) by Onnie Lee Logan.
Scope and Contents note
Collection contains transcripts of the tapes used in an interview of Donna Johnigan as well as a family tree and timeline of her life. Also contains a floppy disk with Tapes 1-10 of the interview on WordPerfect 5.1.
