Biographical/Historical note

Eugenie Ricau Rocherolle is a composer, lyricist, pianist, and teacher who began an early publishing career in choral and band music. In 1978, she established herself as one of the leading American composers of piano repertoire through the success of her first piano solo collection. Her music is widely distributed throughout the United States and abroad.

Ms. Rocherolle has also produced many unpublished works in solo voice, chorus and orchestra, musical theater and chamber music for variety of mediums. She is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, (ASCAP), Conneticut Composers Inc. and the National Federation of Music Clubs. Her biographical profile appears in the “International Encyclopedia of Women Composers,” “Who’s Who of American Women,” “Who’s Who in the East" and “Who’s Who."

Scope and Contents note

This collection consists of programs and fliers advertising concerts in which Ms. Rocherolle has performed, as well as a selection of some of the music she composed in catalog and sheet music form. Also included are numerous newspaper articles documenting Ms. Rocherolle’s success throughout her career.
