Looking for something great to read? How about a recommendation from NCI?

When you make the time to read something not required for class,  you want to be sure it's good. Now you can find recommendations for great books each week in the Newcomb News, many of which are available at the Vorhoff Library or in another collection on campus. This week's recommendation comes from Student Affairs Associate Kaitlin Splett:

The Color of Violence: The INCITE! Anthology: This text opens with the question "What would it take to end violence against women of color?". If you're someone who's interested in answering that question yourself and learning from others whose work and activism is solving this global problem I highly recommend this book.
