It is possible to produce a list of descriptive frequencies using several different methods such as Frequencies or Case Summaries in SPSS.  It might be more presentable if these frequencies are then transferred to a word processing program and entered into a table, although it might be sufficient to edit the output in SPSS directly.  An example of a situation analysis table for Tanzania is shown below.
