A high speed connection is capable of supporting several mediums of information. This page includes a background, an image, and a sound file, in addition to the usual text, links, and colors. Of course, style is still a consideration with a high speed connection - don't drown the effect of your message by overloading your visitors with gimmicks!
Since this page represents your Public Health School, you can
still use the general format of the page set up for slow
connections. However, feel free to embellish each section. Hang
up a picture of the school next to the Facilities description, or
put photographs of each of the faculty members next to their
names. In fact, these photographs can be used as links to their
own pages. For example, if your link to Dr. Smith's page is <a
href="smith.html> Dr. Smith </a>, substitute
"smith.gif" for "Dr. Smith" (where
"smith.gif" is a photograph of Dr. Smith), and the link
to Dr. Smith's web page will be his photograph instead of his
name.
