Donate to the Tulane University College Republicans
Dear Friend,
Thank you for visiting the webpage of the Tulane University College Republicans! Our organization strives to increase the political activity on the campus of Tulane University and provide an opposing voice to the omnipresent liberalism preached every day by the administration and faculty of our University. We stand strong in our Conservative beliefs and strive to improve our campus through our activism!
As a strictly political group, however, the College Republicans do not receive any funding from the University or the student government. We must seek our own funds in order to provide the kinds of quality programming and activity we think is essential to our organization. For example, for the past two years, we have hosted Conservative Awareness Week, featuring a number of nationally-known speakers including Floyd Brown (Reagan Ranch Executive Director and Republican activist) and Phyllis Schlafly (leader of the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment and founder of the Eagle Forum). We have hosted events on issues ranging from the environment to the War on Terror to Gun Control.
We have also been helpful in working campaigns in New Orleans and Louisiana. You will also find Tulane CRs working for David Vitter and others in the enormously important upcoming election!
We cannot, however, continue to exist without YOUR help! Please consider being a part of the 2005 Annual Conservative Awareness Week Capital Campaign. We hope to raise over $5000 to attract quality conservative speakers to campus and to continue to provide much-needed GOTV and campaign manpower for Republicans city- and statewide.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have at republic@tulane.edu or at (504) 862-8000 ext. 90029. Please consider a contribution to the front lines of the conservative movement in Louisiana: the Tulane College Republicans.
