RHG Positions

President:
The President’s role is to oversee the operations of the RHG as a whole and to preside over all RHG meetings.  The President will set weekly RHG meetings where the RHG offices, floor representatives, and RHG advisor should all be present. The President serves as the official spokesperson of the RHG to the residence hall community as a whole, as well as to the RHA Executive Board.

Executive Vice President:
The Executive Vice President’s assumes the role of President in lieu of his/her absence or vacancy of the position. The EVP acts as a secretary at all RHG meetings and is responsible for emailing meeting minutes to all concerned parties after any RHG meeting. Additionally, the EVP should coordinate residence hall t-shirt sales during the fall semester, if t-shirts are deemed necessary.

Executive Vice President of Finance:
The duty of the Executive Vice President of Finance is to maintain the RHG budget and be able to report the current budgetary status as necessary. The EVP of Finance will work with the Area Director or RHG advisor to establish an RHG budget in the beginning of the fall semester. The EVP of Finance must supervise all allocations of RHG funds and RHA sponsorship proposals. The EVP of Finance will also coordinate all RHG fundraisers.

Executive Vice President of Programming:
The Executive Vice President of Programming plans at least one large RHG event each semester. The EVP of Programming should assist his/her RHG in any additional programming efforts. Additionally, the EVP of Programming is responsible for remaining in contact with area RAs in order to keep them up-to-date on RHG programming efforts and facilitate co-programming between RHG and RAs.

Executive Vice President of Community Service:
The Executive Vice President of Community Service plans at least one large RHG community service event each semester. The EVP of Community Service should assist his/her RHG in any additional community service efforts. Additionally, the EVP of Community Service is responsible for remaining in contact with area RAs in order to keep them up-to-date on RHG community service efforts and facilitate co-sponsorship between RHG and RAs.

The Floor Representatives:
The Floor Representatives will be elected or appointed by the floor RA. The Floor Representatives will be the voice of his/her floor at RHG meetings. The Floor Representative will assist his/her RHG in any additional duties that deem necessary.
