2. Students will be able to use vector algebra to solve force balance problems.
3. Students will be able to write up clear analyses and communicate them
effectively.
4. Students will develop problem solving abilities and will be able to apply
the principles of statics to diverse and novel problems and circumstances.

Class Policies
There will be 3 in-class tests, weighted equally, and no final.
Homework is due at the beginning of class. Late homework will be
derated by 25% for each class day, or part thereof, late. The two
lowest scores will be discarded.
