Our project is to design a walker for a child with CP, ataxia, and seizure disorder that will give him independent mobility so that he can play with his friends.

Three Jacks & A Jill:
Mark Mathason, Lon Riley, Jason Costello, Kristen Pasnak
We are attempting to help two little girls with their schoolwork. They have problems gripping things like crayons and in operating controls on devices like tape recorders.

Red Beans & Rice:
Brian Giles, Matt Parsons, Renee Heatherly, Darryl Overby, Felipe Aguel
Our client has difficulty doing her job: Delivering mail and collecting recycled paper. Our plan is to fit her wheelchair with a device that will carry sorted mail, then convert to a bulk paper carrier without intermixing the two types of paper.

JRIG
Ira Nemeth, Rommel Bruehl, George Buchert, Jan Medina
We're designing a system to help a person with no short term memory make it throught the day independently.

FTP
Derek Cook, Keith Demetriades, John Carnahan, Nicki Hairrell, Scott Hammond
We're designing a wheelchair ramp that will permit a person with weak arms to gain independent access to his house.

Party of Five:
Tricia Punsalan, Nhan Nguyen, Chris Elliot, Marc Bingham, Joshua Geary
Our client cannot feed herself because of lack of control of her hands. We're designing a feeding machine, the FAD (feeding assist device), that she can control with her feet.

Team 7
Norman Brown, Chan Kyu, Khanh Le, Janice Jabido
Our client, a quadriplegic, will get a door to his house that he can operate from his wheelchair.

Nippon Ham Fighters:
Marshall Jamshidi, David Rosler, Amelia Smith, Jeff Crystal, Melissa Kurtis
The van doors and chairlift activated on the I-10 for our client. Too much excitement and danger for her, so we're making a protection/interlock system so that it won't be likely to happen again.
