working on his college education. He has muscular dystrophy and
requires assistance operating mechanical devices including remote
controls. We are developing a sip-and-puff controller to allow him
to control a variety of devices independently.

Our client is a quadriplegic with limited use of his biceps and
shoulders. He is very independent and needs easy access to enter
and leave his home. We are developing a sliding door opener for him
that he can operate by remote control from his wheelchair.

Our client is a twelve year-old boy with cerebral palsy. He is
mobile and enjoys playing outside, but has a very limited ability
to ambulate. He requires constant assistance. In order to enable
independent play, we are developing a recumbent tricycle with
appropriate supports and restraints.

Our client is a professional businesswoman who had polio in high
school and remains largely paralyzed. She needs access to
ventilator controls as well as a variety of devices and implements
from her bed. We are developing a multi-level elevating table to
meet her needs.

Grace King High School, under the lead of teacher Erich
Sollenberger, is building a regulation miniature golf course which
allows wheelchair access. We are developing a golf putter for use
by students with wheelchairs who do have some control of their
arms.

Our client is a 24 year-old woman who was disabled by carbon
monoxide poisoning and now uses a wheelchair. She is unable to
transfer independently to a tub or shower to bathe, and her present
care facility is unable to accommodate this due to space and
equipment considerations. We are developing a device to allow her
to move from her wheelchair into the tub, bathe, and transfer back
out.

Our client is a pre-K student with arthrogriposis that prevents
significant use of her arms and legs. In order to help her
progress in school, we are developing a wheelchair with mounts for
devices that she uses throughout the day.
Girls Gone Mild!!!

Our client is a 4 year-old boy with cerebral palsy. He needs to be
able to move independently about the home and would benefit from
gait training. We are developing a walker that facilitates such
movement, enables gait training, and appeals to his sense of
aesthetics so that he has incentive to use it.

She would like to accompany her family on neighborhood walks. We
are developing a combination pedal/power vehicle with a specialized
seat for her.

Our client is a writer with muscular dystrophy. To allow him to
travel and commute with his fiancee, we are developing a bicycle
trailer with a seat and cargo area. This system must be suitable
for use in New Orleans and stowable in a small house.
