Tulane Outreach to Romania

Welcome to the Tulane Outreach to Romania (TOR) webpage!

We are a student interest group from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, LA with a particular heart for the medically underserved of Romania. TOR is a sister group of the Daniel Murariu Foundation.

Our purpose

  • To raise funds for scholarships for five exceptionally talented yet financially in-need students of Romania.
  • To facilitate an annual trip to Romania, of one week duration, and provide local denizens with health care.
  • To increase awareness of health care disparities in underserved countries around the world.

Our current projects

  • We are collecting funds to help fulfill our commitment to the scholarships, as well as to help pay for the upcoming medical missions trip to Romania. To learn more about how to contribute to our fundraising, please click here
