encompasses
economic, transitional, and cultural aspects
of everday life.

- Children's agency in Russia has changed greatly
since the fall of

- With the fall of Communism, children gained agency.
- However, their
freedom and independence is not apparent because of the state of the
economy.
Diversity
The differences
that
are
found in individuals within a certain society.
- There is currently very litle racial diversity among
Russian
Children.
- However, diversity is increasing as outside influences are
slowly
introduced into Russian life.
The topics of social structure, diversity, and agency were discussed
in Professor April Brayfield's Children & Society course.
This web page was created in the Fall of 2000 by Tulane University
