Unicef in Italy- Comprised of more than 100
subcommittees run by volunteers and a professional staff in Rome, this
organization is responsible for advocating for children's rights as
well as fundraising.
Save
the Children- Non-profit child-assistance organization working in
40 countries in the developing world to help children and families
improve their health, education and economic opportunties as well as
providing disaster relief.

Convention on
the Rights of the Child (Full Text)- Ratified by 192 countries,
this legally-binding document establishes standards that every nation
in the world, with the exception of two, have agreed to follow,
including civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights.
European Convention on the Exercise of Children's
Rights- Signed on January 25, 1996, this contains additional
protections for children that have been ratified by the members of the
Council of Europe.
