Unicef is a part of the United Nations system founded in 1946. Its
headquarter is in New York, but Unicef also has 8 regional offices and 125
country offices. Ethiopia is one of the countries that is involved
with Unicef. The basic purpose of this organizations is to protect
children's rights and help children meet their needs. It also wants to
expand children's opportunities so that they can reach their full
potentioal. Unicef helps children by improving their health, education,
and sanitation.

Circus
Ethiopia
Circus Ethiopia is an organization in Ethiopia that provides recreation
and educational opportunities to disadvantaged children. This
organization introduces circus arts to the children, and it also helps
many street children by involving them with the circus. Circus Ethiopia
also promote Ethiopia and their culture overseas. Their circus shows
are free, and they hope that they can make money through international
shows to support their activities in Ethiopia.

SOS Children's Villages Ethiopia
SOS Children's Villages Ethiopia is a private, non-political and
non-denominational welfare organization that offer abandoned, orphaned,
and destitute children a new and permanent home to prepare them for
independent life. This organization began in 1949 and is represented
in 129 countries. Every child is given a mother, and the boys and girls
grow up together as brothers and sisters. Every family has a house of
their own, and this house is a part of a village because the organization
wants the children to grow up with cultural roots and a feeling of
belonging.

International Development Mission to Ethiopia
Developed in 1993, the USAID focused on improving food, health, family
planning, primalry education and political institutions. This agency
wants to make progress in Ethiopia over the next ten years. USAID had
spent 1.5 billion dollars in Ethiopia already. USAID assistance wants to
improve the education of the rural areas and females. Its main focus is
to provide food security for the people of Ethiopia.
