  •         Childcare Leavechild with chicken pox
    • This leave is available to parents after their parental leave has been used. The leave is only allowed for two years. However, it can only be taken by one parent, and is unpaid.
  • ·         Adoption
    •    Parents are allowed 100 days of leave when they adopt a child under 15 years of age
  • ·         Sick Leave
    •    Parents are allowed to take 30 days a year to care for sick children under 10. Parents are compensated 65% the minimum wage.

    •    If there is a handicap or chronically ill child under one year old, parents can apply for a five-hour reduction in their workweek.
  • ·         Nursing Leave
    •    Parents are given two hours a day for nursing leave for the first year after birth. An extra half hour is given for each additional child
  • ·         School Leave
    •    Four hours of leave per school term are given to parents so they can spend time at their child’s school. This leave is given until the child turn 18 years old.
