Cooperative purchasing of electronic products is one of the objectives of the SCAMeL Board of Directors. Currently the Medical Sciences Library at Texas A&M University is coordinating these activities. The Board approves the products to be reviewed and each member may elect to participate in the final proposal for each product. Products are not considered if there is no financial advantage to the consortium of SCAMeL members.
