Operations research (OR) aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of reproductive health service delivery programs by:

• Identifying problems affecting the performance of service delivery programs
• Testing strategies for resolving problems
• Proposing solutions to be applied

Under the direction of Tulane University, the OR team plans to reinforce the technical capacity in research and information technologies of its African partner institutions. In its role of supporting the SFPS project as a whole, the OR component is responsible for monitoring the key performance indicators and for the dissemination of project results.
