A: Oracle (deliberate, experiment, to induce info. from gods)
Omen (observe from the gods)
Ordeal (trial to get info. from gods)

A: If there is predestination, then
what's the point of divination (except possibly curiosity)? Zeus's son in
the 'Iliad' example (Fates vs. gods).
