The following is the information for this event.

CALL FOR PERFORMANCE

We are calling for programs, shows, or any kind of performance. You don't have to be a perfect performer, as long as you are confident with your show and willing to share it with people, and then just show it! I believe everybody will appreciate it, enjoy it and remember you.

Also, if you attended the Mid-autumn party last year, you may remember that we had a KaraOK apparatus, which has a few thousands of songs, therefore, if you want to sing some songs on the party, please let us know the names of your songs first, so that we could look them up to make sure they are on the list, unless you can sing any of them.

We are asking about the piano that may be provided from 2pm of that day. If you could play piano and would like to share it, please contact us and we could make the time for rehearsal.

Again, any performer will get a Fortune Envelope !!!
For performance, please contact Si Feng:sfeng@tulane.edu, 504-875-0920

CALL FOR IDEAS OF GAMES

We are going to play games during the party. If you have any good idea about games that could be used, please contact Si Feng:sfeng@tulane.edu, 504-875-0920

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

To make this party better, we need a few volunteers to help us out. If you are willing to help, please contact Cheng Mi:micheng1@hotmail.com . Thanks.

Visiting of Officer from Chinese Consulate General of Houston Photo

On Oct 30 2007, we hosted two guests; Mr. Weiping Zha and Mr. Liqing Wei, officers of Chinese Consulate General of Houston.

Chinese professors in New Orleans were invited to have dinner with them. Near thirty professors and some student delegates from Tulane University, University of New Orleans, LSU Medical School, Dillard University and Xavier University were present.

Mr. Zha and Mr. Wei brought exciting news and information about the policy of the Consulate General and gave us good wishes. Everyone was happy to have this opportunity to meet and communicate with the people that share our culture in New Orleans.

This meeting offers a fantastic platform for Chinese professors and students to keep in touch. Hopefully this communication will be continued and get better and better.
