Welcome to Tulane! No matter which part of China you are from, here in New Orleans we are all in one community. From now on we are all called Tulanian, and definitely proud of it. We know as a newcomer the first weeks abroad may be hard to many of you, but please don't forget there are people in TCSSA and Chinese community who are willing to help.

欢迎来到杜兰！无论你来自中国的哪个地方，在这里，在新奥尔良，我们都属于一个集体。从现在开始，我们都非常骄傲地称自己为“杜兰人”。我们知道，刚出国的一两个星期对于大多数新生来说可能会比较难适应，但请不要忘记，杜兰中国学生学者联合会及中国社区，总有人愿意提供帮助。

THE FIRST THING: complete our New Student Registration form so that you will be able to receive useful information from TCSSA Committe, such as important announcements, events, job opportunities and so on.

首先，请完成我们的新生注册表单。这样，你就可以及时收到来自杜兰中国学生学者联合会的有用信息，比如重要的通知，活动，工作机会等。

THE SECOND THING: download our new student guide to get prepared.

其次，下载我们的新生指南，阅读并做好充分准备工作。

THE THIRD THING: join our BBS and social networks for additional helpful tips, and also, make friends with our TCSSA members:)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: keep in mind that TCSSA has the most effective email system with a large user database to help solve any possible problems. Even though you might prefer our social networks for more in-time communcation, you are always welcome to shoot us an email.

TCSSA is a student-run organization whose mission is to broaden the channels of communication between the Tulane Chinese community and various other cultural, academic, and professional communities in the Great New Orleans Area. 
     As the representative of the Tulane Chinese community, TCSSA also seeks to foster a unique appreciation of Chinese culture and provide information on the academic and professional opportunities there to all Tulane community members.
     Finally, TCSSA will do its best to help incoming Chinese students and scholars settle into the New Orleans environment by providing practical services.

杜兰大学中国学生学者联合会一个学生组织。我们的任务是开拓杜兰中国社区与新奥尔良各大文化、学术和专业社区在多领域的交流。

作为杜兰中国社区的代表，杜兰中国学生学者联合会同样寻求发展和推广中国文化的独特路径，并给所有杜兰大学社区的成员提供学术和专业领域的机会。

最后，杜兰大学中国学生学者联合会将尽全力提供实际服务来帮助即将来到新奥尔良地区的中国学生和学者。
