
The purpose of the Industry Participation Program is to provide industry organizations with an opportunity to interact with the TIMES on projects of mutually beneficial interest. The TIMES Industry Participation Program (TIPP) will help achieve the overall mission of TIMES.
There are three basic participation levels as outlined below, depending upon the level of financial support provided to TIMES. The benefits to industry are commensurate with the level of financial support.

*Interns may serve during the summer or school terms. Salaries will be paid by industry. Performances will be assessed by TULANE and PARTICIPANT personnel.

In addition to the Industrial Participation Program, industry organizations may want to consider the following forms of collaboration with TIMES:
· Grants to single investigators or groups of investigators.
· Contract research. Please visit the School of Engineering Industry Partnerships website.
· Analytical services. Please visit the TIMES Facilities website.
· Pursuit of dormant patents
· Federally sponsored collaborative research; e.g. SBIR/STTR or NSF/GOALI
· Opportunity for new business development ventures
Confidential Research Agreements can be executed through Tulane’s Office of Research.
