MSW/Gerontology Certificate

Overview

Student at the Tulane School of Social Work have the option of earning a Certificate in Gerontology with their Master’s degree. In addition to the required MSW courses, students interested in obtaining a Certificate in Gerontology are given a field placement and capstone project relating to older adults and families. They also take a cluster of three (3) electives whose content and/or focus are on the older adult.
