The following databases are available to Freeman faculty, students, and staff either through the Web to Tulane users, or within the Turchin Library, using a Web-based browser.

• Dow-Jones Interactive
  • Full-text coverage of newspapers, periodicals, and other sources of business and general news. Available through the Web to Tulane users.

• ABI/Inform (Proquest)
  • A current index of academic journals and business magazines, with some full text and images. Available through the Web to Tulane users.

  

• Business & Industry
  • A current index of trade journals, newsletters, and newspapers. Useful for company or industry news. Available through the Web to Tulane users.

  

• Disclosure's Global Access
  • Tagged SEC filings, company news, and tearsheets, available through the Web to Tulane users.

  

• TULANET Voyager on the Web
  • Catalog of the Tulane Libraries, with the exception of the Law Library.

  

• STAT-USA (National Trade Data Bank)
  • Databases produced by the US Department of Commerce, including the National Trade Data Bank. Available through the Web to Tulane users.

  
• Zacks' University Analyst Watch
  • Zacks provides coverage of 6,000+ publicly traded companies. The research is compiled from over 3,000 analysts at more than 240 different brokerage houses. - Relevant data servicing all disciplines of business (i.e. Finance, Accounting, Management, and Marketing)

  

• Research Direct from First Call
  • Earnings estimates and brokers notes on domestic and international equities and industries. Tulane users only.

• EconLit
• Index of economic periodical literature. Available through the Web.
• PsychInfo
• Index of periodical literature in psychology. Available through the Web.
• Encyclopedia Brittanica Online
• Includes the Brittanica, along with several other reference sources.
• Fed-in-Print
Index to publications from the Federal Reserve Banks, including some full text links.
• JSTOR
Full text, core journals in social studies and humanities.
• Census Statistics
Statistics from the Census Bureau, including Annual Survey of Manufacturers and County Business Patterns. User ID and password required.
