The Tulane University Vietnamese Association
receives a renowned distinction amongst the student organizations
that currently exist on the Tulane campus. This recognition
is directly attributable to the genuine support and active
participation from its talented members. TUVA has always had
one of the largest memberships, and the members come from
very diverse social and ethnic backgrounds. The individuals
involved take great pride in promoting the cause of the organization
and maintaining the vigor within the association itself.
TUVA provides its members a viable medium
to make an immediate impact on campus and the surrounding
community. Not only do members gain a better understanding
of the Vietnamese culture, but they can also help promote
cultural diversity by sharing their knowledge to other interested
people. Because TUVA encourages service, members can help
the community through projects like Habitat-for-Humanity and
New Orleans Outreach. Finally, TUVA presents a great opportunity
for members to forge everlasting friendships that extend even
beyond the college years.
If you want to get
involved in a meaningful experience, we encourage you to join
the TUVA family immediately. Membership is only $15, which
is a minimal amount considering the many discounted and free
activities we have planned up for members. If you are interested,
please contact and make payment to any of the officers.
