We are proud to be the first nationally designated Center of Excellence in Women's Health in the southeastern United States. This designation is awarded by the Office of Women’s Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The Tulane Xavier National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health (TUXCOE) is a collaborative effort between Tulane University Health Sciences Center, Tulane University Hospital & Clinic, Xavier University and local COMMUNITY partners.

TUXCOE not only increases women’s health collaboration among the Tulane/Xavier-affiliated communities, but also strives to enhance women’s health through communication, empowerment and prevention. Jeanette H. Magnus, MD, PhD, Director of TUXCOE, addresses the importance of women's health in the Director's Message.

This site provides information on TUXCOE programs and activities, and supplies links to valuable health information on our collaborator’s websites.

Please join us in increasing the focus on Women's Health by participating in any upcoming events or by contacting TUXCOE to learn more about our services.
