Mission
Tulane University School of Continuing Studies is the primary outreach division of Tulane University, providing opportunities for lifelong learning needs of the community by developing and delivering distinctive undergraduate and graduate professional programs of the highest quality for a diverse student population.
History
The School of Continuing Studies dates to 1886, when it was founded as the outreach division of Tulane with a mission to offer courses to teachers. The school’s offerings have greatly expanded, but its focus on meeting the educational needs of working adults in the region has not wavered.
