Choosing a Major Applied Business Studies Business Faculty Course Descriptions Accounting Accounting & Finance Advertising Applied Business Banking Business Studies CPA Exam Finance Human Resource Management Marketing New Ventures Real Estate License Small Business Development Applied Computing Systems & Technology Casino Resort Studies Distribution Courses Homeland Security Studies Humanities Independent Studies Internships Liberal Arts & Sciences Louisiana Studies Media Arts Paralegal Studies Social Sciences Degrees & Programs: Real Estate License Students who wish to qualify for the Louisiana Real Estate Salesman's Licensing Examination must complete a minimum of 90 contact hours of coursework (equivalent to six credits or two real estate courses) in the following: Real Estate Salesperson Requirements Credits REAL 232 Principles and Practices of Real Estate 3 One Real Estate (REAL electives) 3 Total 6 Students who are interested in qualifying for the Louisiana Real Estate Broker's License Examination must complete a minimum of 150 contact hours (equivalent to 12 credit hours) in the following: Real Estate Broker Requirements Credits REAL 232 Principles and Practices of Real Estate 3 Four Real Estate electives 12 Total 15 Other business courses may substitute for the broker's requirements. NOTE: These courses are subject to the nine-course (27 credit) limit on business, management and related courses.
