In this program, students will examine risk behaviors that can compromise a person’s health throughout the lifespan, explore personal fitness, health evaluation, nutrition, and discover ways to promote health through behavioral change. Due to the growing emphasis on preventative health care, health care reform and an aging and multicultural population there is an increasing need for health professionals. This program will help to broaden your knowledge and skills with a mind, body and spirit approach to health and wellness. Students may earn an associate’s of arts or bachelor’s degree, a minor or a post baccalaureate certificate.
