Circular on Articles Soliciting and Conference Registration On “The 12th Sulfur Dioxide and Nitrogen Oxide Pollution Control Technology & Flue Gases Desulphurization, Denitrification, Demercuration Technology Innovation and Management International Seminar”

 

 

To whom it may be concerned:

The energy structure with coal as the main fuel is one of the main factors to waive negative influence on China’s atmospheric environment quality. 90% sulfur dioxide, 67% nitrogen oxide, and 70% soot discharging amount in China stem from the burning of coal, and the flue gases discharging pollution problems of coal-burning power plant, coal-burning industrial boilers and coal-burning furnaces are the most serious, the coal-burning fuel gases control is the main way to control over atmospheric environment pollution, and the flue gases desulphurization, denitrification are the highlights to control the coal-burning fuel gas pollution. Therefore it is quite an urgent task to focus on the major demand of China atmospheric pollution control and the international technical frontline, develop coal-burning power plant, industrial boilers and furnaces and other flue gases discharging pollutants control technology and equipment in favor of developing the recycle economy and resources comprehensive utilization with independent intellectual property rights through key technology R & D and system integration, and promote the improving of China’s atmospheric environment quality. In order to guarantee to realize the main pollutants general discharging amount reduction objective during the “Tenth Five-Year” plan, speed up the current coal-burning power plant desulphurization and denitrification facility construction, promote the sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide’s comprehensive treatment in industries, such as iron & steel, copper metallurgy, chemical industry, and building materials, improve the localization of the desulphurization and denitrification engineering technologies and equipment and drive the desulphurization and denitrification technologies’ development, according to the schedule of 2008’ highlight technology intercommunication and seminar of the State Environment Protection, the 12th Sulfur Dioxide and Nitrogen Oxide Pollution Control Technology & Flue Gases Desulphurization, Denitrification, Demercuration Technology Innovation and Management International Seminar is scheduled to be held in May 2008 in Chongqing. This session of the seminar will actively promote to solve the pollution problems in China due to sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, etc.

The following is the notice concerning article soliciting and related matters:

 

I. Main contents for article soliciting:

1. Internationally advanced flue gas pollution control technologies and their demonstration and application in China; 

2. Typical cases and analysis about foreign desulphurization, denitrification, demercuration and dust-removing engineering;

3. The current status and development trend about nitrogen oxide discharge and control technologies;

4. Development and application of large thermal power plant’s key technology for flue gas desulphurization and denitration;

5. Study on industrial coal-burning boiler’s wet flue gas desulphurization and denitration technologies;

6. R & D and application of ammonia recovery method desulphurization and denitration technologies;

7. The latest R & D and application of the activated carbon method flue gas purifying technology;

8. Latest scientific achievements and operation & maintenance technologies of the SCR denitration core technologies;

9. Resource recycles desulphurization technology and desulphurization byproducts resources comprehensive utilization technology; 

10. Coal-burning power plant mercury discharging control technologies and technical policy study;

11. Desulphurization and denitrification and dust-removing integrated technology and the desulphurization ash collection & transportation;

12. Agglomerating plant flue gas half-dry desulphurization supporting technology and agglomerating plant flue gas denitrification technology policy study;

13. Study on FCC catalyst sulfur transfer and catalyzing and cracking activity;

14. Flue gas discharge continuous monitoring technology and operation control & management; 

15. The latest R & D and application of the erosion-resistance technology of the flue gas desulphurization devices; 

16. Problems, solutions and measures in the design, engineering construction, device operation of the desulphurization, Denitrification, Demercuration project;

17. R & D and the industrial application of various new desulphurization, Denitrification, Demercuration technologies.

All units and personnel concerned are hoped to write thesis according to the content in the above.

II. Requirements about the thesis: ① Adopt A4 paper, 5 Song typeface, 45 words every line and 42 lines for every page, no more than 5 pages generally. The author shall be liable for the thesis. The abstract of the thesis is required to be about 500 words; ② The author name, unit and postal code are under the thesis title; ③ Only electronic edition thesis (or floppy disc) is acceptable for the conference. Please mail the thesis to Email wangq-2006@163.com④ The deadline of the thesis is April 20, 2008. All the thesis accepted will be edited in Collections of the 12th Sulfur Dioxide and Nitrogen Oxide Pollution Control Technology & Flue Gases Desulphurization, Denitrification, Demercuration Technology Innovation and Management International Seminar. One book will be provided for every participant.

III. Keynote Report

1. Leaders from State Environment Protection’s pollution control department make introduction to contents, such as sulfur dioxide control measures during the “Eleventh Five-Year” plan, coal-burning power plant nitrogen oxide treatment plan, nitrogen oxide control measures, related economic policies, key thermal plant desulphurization project central environment protection subsidiary fund application, power plant remnant total amount control indexes transaction, increasing electricity price, and so on;     

2. Famous experts from home and aboard introduce the latest technical achievements, successful cases and advanced management experience about desulphurization, denitrification, and demercuration.

IV. Participation Units

1. Management departments: leaders or management personnel of nationwide environment-protection bureaus in charge of atmospheric pollution control departments.

2. Scientific research units: power, environment protection, iron & steel, petroleum chemical system research units, design units, universities, scientific research institutions, monitoring organs, environment assessment units, and so on.

Enterprises: desulphurization, denitrification, demercuration and dust-removing treatment companies, desulphurization, denitrification and dust-removing construction, installation companies, coking plants, power companies, power plants, chemical industry factory, heating factories, industrial enterprise coal-burning boiler units, and so on.

4. Other units and persons intending to take part in the seminar.

I. Charging standard

1. Conference cost: 600 dollars for every participant representative, including (fees for three meals a day, simultaneous interpretation, collections, conference directory, material fee, gifts, on-the-spot investigation and certificates)  

2. Thesis submitting: the cost will be charged for those only submitting articles but not taking part in the conference. 100 dollars for every article will be charged. 

3. Expert lecture (enterprise speech): 1000 dollars per 30 minutes; 

4. Keynote lecture (enterprise speech): 1500 dollars per 20 minutes;

II. Collections and advertisement in the conference directory 

The collections / conference directory is 16 format with color printing, and the dimensions are  210MM( W)×285MM(H). They may be mainly distributed to leaders of environmental protection bureau’s pollution control department, power, environmental protection, iron& steel, petroleum chemical, universities & colleges, scientific research institutions, monitoring organs, environment assessment unit and all participant representatives.
