"Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Technology for the Chemical Industry"

Co-sponsored by the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, t he EETC and the Louisiana Steam Equipment Co. (LSE) hosted the workshop in their ongoing efforts to help implement the objectives and strategy for encouraging the US and China collaboration on clean energy technology exchanges.  A delegation of 28 people traveled from China to participate in the workshop. "Click here" for a link to the article in Mandarin.

4th China International Hi-tech Symposium on Coal Chemical Industry & Coal Conversion

Call for Abstracts Deadline

Sponsored by US Department of Energy (DOE/USA); Ministry of Science and Technology, and P.R. China (MOST/PRC)

Authors wishing to present papers at the symposium should submit a one-page abstract in English by either e-mail or fax before July 31, 2007. 

Focused on the basic and applied research and development of technologies for CO2 emissions reduction, technical sessions will be held on the following 4 topics:

  1. China and International CCS efforts
  2. Advanced technologies for CO2 Capture Technologies
  3. CO2 Storage
  4. Measurement and Monitoring and Verification

Abstract Acceptance will be notified by August 30, 2007

PowerPoint or full-length papers whould be submitted by September 30, 2007
