The Family Match Program was created as a response to the lack of assistance available to families attempting to return home. The goal of the program is to aid families in all aspects of recovery, rebuilding, and returning to their homes in New Orleans. The Family Match Program evolved from simply gutting houses to becoming deeply involved with each family’s efforts to return. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting families in finding temporary housing, low interest loans, Louisiana Family Recovery Road Home Grants and the permits necessary for their rebuilding. The Family Match Program seeks to identify families who are committed to returning to the city and then help them to do so.

If you'd like more information about the Family Match Program and/or would like to request to enter the program, please email our case manager Nicole at nicolecsnyder@gmail.com or you can email safer@tulane.edu.
