SAFER is led by students and recent college graduates who work together to rebuild homes in New Orleans
with the help of part time volunteers from around the country. SAFER currently has a joint staff with the Phoenix of New Orleans, including 12 recent graduates enrolled in the AmeriCorps program as well as 4 main staff who coordinate the efforts of both organizations. Our staff is quite diverse in their backgrounds, expertise, and interests. If
