| SAFER aims to work with New Orleans homeowners who have adequate funds to purchase
materials, but fall short of having enough to hire contractors to do the labor
on their home. Most of the families that we work with are on-site everyday
alongside our crew helping with the rebuilding of their home. Being a small
organization, SAFER crew members and volunteers are able to get to know the
individuals we are working to help on a personal basis, which makes the
experience even more meaningful.
