| Matt Cerick is a recent graduate of Tulane University with a degree in Political Science. Matt hails from New Canaan, Connecticut, a place entirely different from New Orleans in just about every way. Perhaps this was why Matt fell in love with the city shortly after arriving in the fall of '04, and after the storm hit, has wanted to contribute to the recovery effort in every way possible. The most important thing about the recovery of New Orleans is getting its displaced people back into their homes and living in the city, and that is why Matt is so excited about his chance to help make that happen first hand by working with SAFER.
