Note about viewing

the abstracts:

Abstracts for this meeting are in Portable Document Format (.pdf) and may be viewed in any program which supports this format. The recommended program for viewing abstracts is Adobe® Acrobat® or Adobe® Acrobat Reader® (v. 5.1 or earlier), which is available for download free of charge from the Adobe website. Abstracts were verified to display and print correctly with this version.

1) Abstract .pdfs were generated by the authors of the abstracts, and a variety of programs were used to create the .pdfs. More recent versions of the Adobe® Acrobat Reader® may not interpret the abstract characters in certain .pdfs as intended by the authors (e.g. boxes appear instead of certain letters, etc.). If this happens, try switching to an earlier version of Adobe® Acrobat Reader®.

2) Due to the international nature of this meeting, an error indicating that 'certain fonts were not available' may appear for some abstracts. This is due to the possible use of different fonts during abstract preparation, but does not usually affect the appearance of the abstract. It the abstract appearance is affected, or to avoid the error notice, re-install Adobe® Acrobat Reader® with all international fonts included.
